by Dave Arthur, Selections from The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky and A Christmas Festival by Anderson.
This concert will help raise funds for the Mennonite Central Committee.

Suite Francaise from France, Gassi’s Tsunami from Canada, Swearingen’s In All Its Glory
from the United States, and Marquez’ Danzon #2 from Mexico. Olena Klyucharova
will perform Prokofiev’s poetic and brilliant Piano Concerto No. 1 in this new transcription
for piano and wind orchestra by Douglas McLain.

Our season finale moves from the sublime to the ridiculous and back with John Barnes Chance’s
Incantation and Dance, Eric Whitacre’s Godzilla Eats Las Vegas, and Johan de Meij’s
five movement Symphony No. 1 “Lord of the Rings”. John Monkhouse will perform Arthur Pryor’s
Blue Bells of Scotland. Jim Edwards will perform John Hartmann’s La Belle Americaine.
