The Glory of Song

A programme of music inspired and derived from song including Brahms' Academic Festival Overture,
Wagner's Prelude to Act III of Lohengrin, Strauss' Overture to Die Fledermaus, Fucik's Florentiner March,
Alfred Reed's setting of Black is the colour of my true love's hair, and John Barnes Chance's
Variations on a Korean Folk Song.  Soprano Sandra Tucker is our featured soloist in
Richard Strauss' beautiful and autumnal Four Last Songs.
This concert will help raise funds for the Eating Disorders Awareness Coalition.
